Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test (MH CET) is a state-level entrance examination for admission to UG engineering, agriculture, and pharmacy courses.
Candidates clearing the MH CET 2021 can apply to colleges of Maharashtra for B.E, B.Tech, B.Pharmacy, Pharma D, etc.
Since the board exam for Class 12 CBSE has been postponed due to the rise in COVID-19 cases in the state, the MH CET examination has been delayed. The application form is expected to be available from the 1st week of May online till the 4th week.
The exam will be held on the 2nd week of June 2021.
There is no age limit for attempting the paper as long as the Indian candidate has passed the Class 12 board examination or is appearing for the 2021 examination. The syllabus and Mock tests are now available for aspiring students.
MH CET 2021 Syllabus.
The examination will cover 3 subjects: Mathematics (Paper 1), Physics and Chemistry (Paper 2), and Biology (Paper 3). Based on Multiple Choice Questions, the paper will include 20% of class 11 topics and the rest on class 12 topics.
Students can refer to their Class 11 and 12 textbooks for the syllabus.
Since some of the topics from the Class 12 syllabus have been removed, this same is applicable for the entrance examination.
MH CET 2021 Examination.
The exam will be conducted online (Computer-based test). Two groups will be conducted: PCM and PCB examination.
Candidates need to enter their final exam district as they cannot change it after submitting the form.
The following exam districts are available: Mumbai, Aurangabad, Nagpur, Amravati, Nashik, Nanded. Sangli, and Pune.
For each paper of 50 questions, the duration is 1 hour 30 minutes. There is no negative marking.
The total marks for all papers combined are 300. In Paper 1 for Mathematics, each correct answer is awarded 2 marks. On the other hand, for Paper 2 and 3, 1 mark is awarded for each correct answer.
Candidates can find papers 2 and 3 in 3 languages: English, Marathi, and Urdu, while Paper 1 is in English.

Give equal importance to all subjects.
Practice previous years’ papers and mock tests to get an understanding of the topics and weightage. It is helpful in determining the performance and weak areas.
Prepare a detailed study plan with more time spent on complex and length topics.
Prepare from Class 11 topics since they are the base to the Class 12 concepts.
