JET Agriculture 2021: What and How to Prepare?

Rajasthan JET Agriculture 2021 is a state level examination conducted every year. The application form is provided by Sri Karan Narendra Agricultural University at Jobner.

It is the name of the examination called as Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology Joint Online Test. Candidates clearing the JET Agriculture examination can get admission to courses including M.Sc. Horticulture, M.Sc. Agriculture, M.Sc. Home Science, M.Sc. Forestry, M.F.Sc, Dairy Technology, Food Nutrition and Dietetics, and B.Tech Food Technology.


The score of the JET examination is accepted by Rajasthan institutes, private and government.


Important Points.

  • The application form for attempting the JET Agriculture 2021 began in the 4th week of March.

  • Aspiring candidates can fill the form which is open till 17th May in online mode.

  • All information including personal details, contact and academic details must be provided for filling the form.

  • The last day for filling and fee deposit with late fee is 22nd May. Candidates can edit their application form with is open till 24th May.

  • The Rajasthan JET examination will be conducted on 11th July 2021.

Eligibility.

  • Candidates having a domicile of Rajasthan state are allowed to apply. Candidates from other states can apply but can only get admission to private universities.

  • They should not be over 25 years of age.

  • Candidates must have passed in agriculture, biology, chemistry, mathematics, and physics subjects in the 10+2 board examination with 50% minimum marks.

  • Arts and Commerce students cannot attempt this examination.

JET 2021 Exam Pattern.

  • Candidates will attempt 200 questions through offline mode. The paper is available in Hindi and English.

  • This paper is attempted using OMR paper and a black ballpoint pen.

  • Each correct answer will be awarded 4 marks while 1 mark is deducted for each wrong answer.

  • The subjects included in the paper include Physics, Chemistry, Agriculture, Mathematics and Biology. Each subject has 40 questions, therefore a total of 200 questions. Candidates are to attempt 3 subjects out of these 5 subjects and attempt 120 questions within 2 hours. The total maximum marks are 480.

  • If the candidate wants admission to B.Tech Dairy or Food Technology, they should choose PCM subjects only.

Syllabus. The syllabus will be provided by the Agriculture University at Kota. 10+1 and 10+2 syllabus should be studied by the appearing candidate.


Preparation Tips.

  • Create a thorough study plan and stick to it.

  • Go through the syllabus and paper pattern.

  • Jot down notes while studying the syllabus. These notes can later be used for revision.

  • Attempt mock papers and practise papers to analyse the preparation level.

  • Take good care of physical and mental health through a balanced diet, good sleep and exercise.

  • Take numerous revisions.
