Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) MAIN is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) from 2020 onwards.

Applicability: It is applicable for admission to NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs participating through Central Seat Allocation Board.
Eligibility: A candidate should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12th class examination, or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST candidates the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class examination.

JEE ADVANCED

Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) ADVANCED is conducted at a National Level Entrance Test.
Applicability: It is applicable for admission in various IIT's & NIT's to study undergraduate courses in Engineering & Architecture. A candidate can appear this test only after writing JEE Main test. The examination score of JEE Main is required to take JEE Advanced test.
Eligibility: The candidate must fulfill complete the outlined criteria. Performance in JEE (Main). An individual should be amongst the top 2,24,000 (including all categories) in Paper-1 of JEE (Main).

VITEEE ENGINEERING

VITEEE is a Common Entrance Exam conducted by the Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT).
Applicability: It is applicable for admission to the Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) only. A candidate can select the courses offered at VIT Vellore, Chennai Campus, VIT-Bhopal and VIT-AP on the day of Counselling as per the order of merit and availability.
Eligibility: The candidate shall have secured a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the 12th class examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST candidates the qualifying marks would be 50%.

BITSAT Engineering

BITSAT is an Entrance Exam conducted by Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS).

Applicability: It is applicable for admission in Integrated First Degree Programmes at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) campuses - Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad and Dubai.
Eligibility: Admission to all the programmes is subject to following criteria – the student should have obtained a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in PCM or PCB.

National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is being conducted by Council of Architecture (COA).
Applicability: It is a national level examination for admission to undergraduate courses in architecture. The test measures the aptitude of applicants for a specific field of study in areas like drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking, qualities that have been acquired over a long period of time and that are related to architecture.
Eligibility: Candidates should have passed 10+2 examination with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and also 50% marks in aggregate at 10+2 level examination; (those appearing the 10+2 exam with PCM subjects in the current year may also provisionally appear in the exam, however, their result in NATA will be declared valid subject to fulfilling the above criteria)

LSAT Law

Law School Admission Test (LSAT) is a standardised test to assess one’s aptitude for studying Law.
Applicability: LSAT is mandatory for admission to law schools affiliated to American Bar Association (ABA) and Canadian Common Law Schools. It is designed to test your Critical Reading and Analytical Thinking Skills, which are considered important for success in a law school.
Eligibility: Law School Admission Council (LSAC), is the official body to conduct the LSAT exam and doesn’t specify any conditions to write the exam. Candidates need to check for any specific criteria with their targeted law schools. Test is intended for candidates desirous of studying law and have graduated or are about to graduate and looking for admissions in a law school. There is no age limit to write the test.

CLAT Law

Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a centralised national level governmental entrance test for admissions to twenty two National Law Universities (NLU) in India.
Applicability: Most private and self-financed law schools in India also use these scores for law admissions.
Eligibility: There is no upper age limit for UG Programme in CLAT. The candidates must have secured - 45% marks or its equivalent grade in case of candidates belonging to General/ OBC/ PWD/ NRI/ PIO/ OCI categories. 40% marks or equivalent in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST categories in 10+2 or an equivalent examination. Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination in March/April, also eligible to appear in CLAT examination. However, they shall be required to produce an evidence of their passing the qualifying examination at the time of admission, failing which they shall lose their right to be considered for admission.

NEET UG Medicine

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET-UG), formerly known as All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT), is an entrance examination in India for students who wish to study undergraduate medical courses (MBBS) and dental courses (BDS) in government or private medical and dental colleges in India.
Applicability: NEET (UG) entrance exams enable admission to Undergraduate Courses at the All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) were included into NEET in the academic year 2020 and onwards by the Government of India.

Eligibility: Candidate should have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete that age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission. The upper age limit for NEET (UG) is 25 years as on the date of examination with a relaxation of 5 years for the candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC category and persons entitled to the reservation under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.

ACT International Test

The American College Testing (ACT) is a standardized test conducted to check the preparedness of students for college admissions in the US. ACT Test is conducted 8 times in a year for national cities and 6 times for international cities. It has four sections – English, Math, Reading, and Science with Writing as an optional section.

Applicability: Candidates who wish to enroll in any of the International College in the United States of America must clear the ACT exam. It is a nationally recognized standardized test, that measures students’ proficiency in various critical skills areas like problem-solving and reading comprehension – that are necessary for college success.
Eligibility: ACT Test can be attempted by any candidate irrespective of age and class. Students of Class 6, 7, and 8 can apply for the test. The minimum age limit to apply for ACT is 13 years

SAT International

SAT is the Scholastic Assessment Test, which was earlier known as the Scholastic Aptitude Test. SAT is a standardized test administered by the College Board and is required to be taken by students seeking admission to undergraduate schools.
Applicability: SAT exam has been developed to evaluate the written, verbal and mathematical skills of the candidates. Applicants aspire to pursue undergraduate courses, particularly in the US and Canada, are required to take the SAT exam. If the student is looking to get admission to a particular course, he/she can take the SAT subject tests to show his knowledge and understanding of that particular subject. Subject tests are offered in areas like Literature, History, Mathematics, Sciences, and Foreign Languages.
Eligibility: There are no criteria for minimum marks. Candidates can appear in the SAT exam after completion of Class 12 from a recognized university or educational board. They can also take this test while studying in Class 11 or 12. Candidates can re-appear for the exam for desired results.
